Description

The XB series was introduced in 1973 as the second iteration to the Falcon, with production
running until 1976. The XB was the replacement to the XA, receiving minor cosmetic
changes. The GT model lined continued through the XB series in Sedan and Hardtop
variants.

This particular example is a Genuine ‘Y’ code 1975 Ford Falcon XB Ute that has undergone a
meticulous restoration by a professional shop in Victoria. New immaculate, rich and deep red
paint was applied with ‘GT inspired’ design cues such as the lower sill and arches in black,
front splitter, colour matched bumpers, ‘GT351’ quarter decals and black bonnet stripe with
air scoop. The once canvas tray cover and tie downs have since been replaced with a super
sleek and thin hardtop tray cover with struts for ease of access. To complete the tough
exterior appearance of this XB Ute, a set of genuine centreline autodrags are fitted.

The understated black interior presents very well, with a series of subtle aftermarket changes.
The aftermarket touches include bolstered seats and a Kenwood stereo while period correct
elements such as a GT/GS style steering wheel and top loader style shift knob are present.

This matching numbers ‘Y’ code XB was fitted with a 302ci V8 from the factory but has since
had that 302 stroked out to 351ci, producing around 400hp. The stroker V8 is mated to a 4-
speed top loader and 9-inch differential, making for a tough muscle car driveline combo.

Take the opportunity to secure this seriously tough XB Ute with meticulous restoration
completed and strong driveline ready to go.
