9/74 Ford XB Falcon 500 GS Hardtop.

$62,000 including spares, negotiable without spares.

Was originally Deep Aqua blue with a 302 V8, 4 speed single rail manual, Borg-Warner diff.

Is now Ford Onyk black (non metallic). Painted in 2013

351 cleveland motor with 302 heads, mild camshaft, Holley 650 vac sec carby, extractors and dual 2.5inch exhaust.

Single rail 4 speed manual

Nine inch Limited Slip Traction Loc diff (from Ford Landau) with disc brakes. Diff is 2.75 ratio.

Standard seats etc, has XC GXL dash fitted and XC centre console.

15 x 10 Dragway 5-spokes on rear and 14 x 8 same on front, tyres are good.

The car was purchased by me in 2000 as a body with suspension and a few various other bits and pieces. It was stripped back to the shell and rebuilt over the following 13 years, mostly by myself but with some professional help with some parts like wiring, the upholstery on the drivers seat and door trims and the final topcoat of paint (done by Main Street Autos in Rockhampton). It was never intended to be a show car as I more wanted a solid, tough street car that could be driven and enjoyed. It’s not a race car either but has been rebuilt with care and the desire for reliability and the enjoyment of owning a car that turns heads (which it definitely does).

There is a good sized collection of spare bits included in the $62,000 price, including spare motor, heads, cranks etc, spare gearbox and 9 inch diff centre. All details can be supplied.

It has a few things that need finishing / sorting out properly, a full description of these can be supplied to serious enquirers. Despite these, it is very good value at this price on todays market. Its currently on Qld club rego which can't be transferred, and won't be sold with a RWC, collection (car is in Gladstone Qld) is the buyers responsibility however I can possibly supply a quote to deliver to some areas on a tilt tray if required.
