Very good body which had minimal rust, original floor pans in excellent condition, amazing rust-free bonnet, good roof & gutters, fire wall & plenum looks mint, solid boot floor, good window openings.

Selling vehicle in primer. It’s ready for final blocking & then paint (I was quoted $5-6k to paint) Factory colour is Burgundy Metallic but this might be that opportunity for you to have the colour of your choice.

Vehicle was repaired by a good panel beater with 20 + years’ experience in classic car restorations - GT falcons, Monaro’s etc. Anyone who has done a resto will understand the ridiculous cost that can go into panel work & rust repairs.

Any bare metal acid washed with Dioxidine, Baslac 2k epoxy, Evercoat rage gold filler, 4 coats of Baslac 2k primer. All 770 mould holes have been welded up as I was going for an E48 look, minimal rust patches welded in & made from correct panel steel.

Front and rear windscreens have been fitted with new rubbers but without locking strips or glue so they can be removed easily for painting. I have fitted most components to ensure I wasn’t missing anything. It also comes with front & rear wheel arch moulds & the original 770 door & ¼ chrome moulds if you want to put it back to factory.

The bad points …. Needs new front indicator lenses, missing LH inner door handle & 1 window winder handle, dash is cracked & has been glued up, needs new sill mould clips & door rubbers but both upper door opening rubbers are new.

I have another project & not enough shed space, time or money to complete both. This rare piece of Australian muscle car history needs a new home.

Inspections welcome. I have more photos if required.
