The 1970 Plymouth Superbird was one of the most significant muscle cars built and is now one of the most sought-after investment muscle cars on the market.
The 1970 Plymouth Superbird was considered an homologation car for the purposes of going over 200 mph on the high speed Talladega and Daytona.
Only approx 300 of the 440 Six pack, 4 speed cars built.
This 1970 Plymouth Superbird for sale (RM23VOA155776) has the Numbers Matching 440c.i. (390hp) Six Pack V8, Numbers Matching 4 Speed Manual Transmission, Dana 60 Rear and is one of the most documented and highly optioned examples of Plymouth's world famous “aerocar” available today.
The documentation on this vehicle includes the original Broadcast sheet (Build sheet), dealership bill of sale invoice, and owner’s manual and previous ownership bill of sales.
Concours restored by Restorations by Julius (USA) in 2001. Julius Steuer is the US legendary MOPAR restorer (google), which includes a 1971 HEMI Cuda that sold for $3.5 million. 100% OEM condition, including the correct primed and detailed undercarriage, suspension, paint markings, exhaust and mufflers, even down to the correct Goodyear polyglas tyres. The car retains its original steel nose cone and aluminium wing.
