Restoration Details:
 

 - Fully restored between 2007-2011 by renowned GT expert, restorer, and judge Dave Shaw. His extensive work on this car was well-documented on Ford Forums (contact for link should you wish to have a look)

 - The restoration adhered to original XY GT specifications, except for upgraded Globe rims, adding a touch of flair while respecting the car’s heritage.

 - The gallery features a mix of photos, including some taken just after the restoration and others from today, demonstrating the car’s enduring beauty.
 

Engine Details:
 

 - The car comes with its matching-numbers block, which has been machined, preserved, and safely wrapped for future use. (as with the body, inspection prior to purchase is welcome and invited, I would personally recommend ICAARS).

 - Currently powered by a strong and street-ready 4V 393 stroker, built from a period-correct D block. It boasts:

 - Solid cam
 - Roller rockers
 - Holley Ultra carburetor
 - Extractors
 - Producing a lively and enjoyable 420HP (A detailed receipt of the full specs is included with the car.)

The matching-numbers block allows for flexibility—enjoy the powerful 393 stroker worry-free or restore the original engine for a concours-level factory setup. Either way, you're left with an incredible piece of motoring history.

Transmission & Drivetrain:
 

 - Equipped with a Top Loader 4-speed manual transmission.

 - Features the correct big-finned drum 9-inch differential for authenticity and performance.

Interior:
 

The interior has been restored to a factory-correct black XY GT trim, presenting in immaculate condition.

Condition:
 

Every detail of this car was restored to concours standards, and while a few years have passed, it has been lovingly maintained, always garaged, and driven sparingly. Minor imperfections include:

 - A few small stone chips on the bonnet
 - Some decal discolouration in the engine bay
 - General road grime underneath, consistent with light and careful use of a GT of this calibre.

 - Located approximately 1 hour north of Sydney.
