HISTORY:  Although Ford records show the vehicle was ordered in Tasmania, Vicroads documents show the vehicle was originally sold and first registered on 24 June 1970 by Courtney & Patterson Motors, West Heidelberg, VIC.

Information indicates it had four previous owners.  I purchased the vehicle in 2004 from the last owner, who had only just completed partially restoring it.  Since my ownership, the vehicle has remained the same, with the exception of rebuilding the engine (2007), regular servicing and minor ongoing maintenance.  I have many receipts of services and maintenance carried out since my ownership.  Other documents include, Ford build letter, ACCHS report, Vicroads first registration & AOMC report.

The following information gives an overall description of the vehicle.

EXTERIOR:  The paint is in very good condition, even and consistent all over.  There is some very minor stone chips.

The external panels are straight with no visible or apparent damage. All doors and boot fit and close well.  The front bumper bar is straight with some dulling of the chrome.  The rear bar is straight, some dulling of the chrome and a small area where the chrome has lifted.

The external stainless trim, strips and moulds etc are complete and in good condition.  The front grill is complete and in good condition.

All headlights, blinkers and tail lights are in working order and good condition.

INTERIOR:  The interior is complete and in overall good condition.  The rear and passenger seats are original and in good condition with minor marks.  The squab of the driver’s seat has had the vinyl replaced and some broken springs repaired and re-foamed.

The original dash pad was reconditioned and has no cracks or blemishes.  All dash lights and instrumentation work well including the clock and the radio.  The tacho does read high.  The air conditioning works well.

The door cards are in good condition with some lifting of the chrome.  The black carpet and interior roof lining are in good condition.

The sunroof opens and closes freely without obstruction.  The white plastic handle recess has a crack.

ENGINE BAY:  The engine bay area presents well and is clean and neat.

Prior to my ownership, the original engine was replaced with a period correct Cleveland 351.  In 2007, the engine was rebuilt (details available).  It has an electronic distributor, Holley 670 carburettor and extractors.  Since the rebuild it has travelled approximately 15900 trouble free miles.  It runs smooth and has plenty of power.

When the engine was rebuilt a new twin exhaust system was added.

The air-conditioning has been upgraded with a new compressor and gas.

BOOT:  The boot is in very good condition.  The 16gal fuel tank is a reproduction, as is the rubber boot mat.  The spare tyre has good tread on an original 12 slot rim.  The jack is complete and works well.

TYRES:  The tyres are Goodyear Assurance, with plenty of tread and they have been red-walled.  The tyres run on original Kelsey Hayes 12 slot rims.

RUST:  There does not appear to be any visible rust evident in the external panels or undercarriage.  There are a couple of repair patches where rust may have been evident when the restoration took place.

The vehicle is currently on historic registration (not transferrable) and will be sold unregistered.  It is driven regularly without any problems.  It is not a perfect or concours vehicle, however, it presents well, can be driven as is, show and enjoy.

The above description is succinct and only covers the pertinent details of the vehicle.  I am interested in selling the vehicle to someone who is interested in buying and happy to answer questions in that regard.

If genuinely interested, an INSPECTION is RECOMMENDED (preferred) by arrangement.  This is so you can satisfy yourself with a visual inspection and questions that may not be covered by the attached images or description.

I am NOT interested in trades, part payments or holding for any period of time.  Paypal will not be accepted.  The vehicle will only be released when full payment is received.

If no answer, leave your name and contact details and I will return your call.
