For sale:
1974 Ford Falcon 500 Hardtop.
Matching numbers 302/Auto.

Location:
Greenhills, New South Wales 2323.
30 Minutes west of Newcastle.
5 minutes from the northern end of the M1.

Viewing:
Stockland Greenhills. (Large shopping centre).
Upper level which has both covered and uncovered areas.
Car is stored at another house so cannot take visitors there.
Week days are great even on short notice like day prior as I have to make sure I can get car out. Weekends we can arrange something.

Second registered owner. Original owner purchased the car from Gilberts in Canberra where it went to Victoria and used by the lady if the house to tow her horse float.
Unregistered for over 25 years and was removed from all R.T.A records with last windscreen service sticker indicating 1998 prior to being it stored away. Previous owner to myself obtained it after the lady and husband passed away and also stored it away and not registering it.

Just after original purchase the interior was stripped out and some black tar fish oil stuff was painted in the doors and anywhere else they could get access including up the front foot wells and floor. Boot was done also.

Original AM radio with a K-Mart aftermarket FM receiver is installed. This receives FM through AM radio.
Air con fan works on all speeds but no cold air.
Car has had a blow over at some stage.
K-mak rear sway bar
K-mak front springs that were on when I bought it go with the car.

Plenum absolutely perfect and does not leak. I have driven the car in the rain and no leaks.
When the heater box was removed to replace the heater core I put an inspection camera up the vent into the plenum. Only dust. Photos available.

After I purchased the car full N.S.W rego was obtained after one upper and one lower control arm was replaced along with 4 new tyres.

Rust:
Absolutely none in the plenum.
20 cent piece size in drivers door sill under vent.
Spot of rust passenger door sill under vent.
2 or 3 others about the same size around wheel arches.
Rust bubble lower passenger door.
Left hand side under boot seal.
6-7 pin holes along and rear just below the bottom chrome strip.
These have been patched and do not leak so there are no holes under the rubber where they usually rust.

I am arranging to have the rust repaired so the more work is completed the less negotiable I am on the price.

What I have had done:
$1100 transmission rebuild to repair clutch and Park pawl and seals and service by an auto transmission Specialist.
Fully rebuilt Email Carter 2 barrel carb from Hume Performance.
New dual 2” system with stainless glass-packs.
New fuel tank.
New Konis all around.
New lowered Lovell coils in the front.
New front wheel bearings.
Replaced Girlock disc front brakes with alloy PBR’s.
New wheel cylinders and shoes on rear drums.
New 245/50/14 Bridgestone Eagers all around.
New heater core.
Reconditioned radiator.
Front seats re-trimmed

‘V.I.P Automotive Solutions’ can look on your behalf.
Used by a buyer of my previous Hardtop. Very thorough and know what to look at they will do a 5 page report and about 120 photos.
I used them to inspect this car for me prior to purchase. Extremely happy with the result.
