This is a genuine 8/1970 GT Ford Cortina in vermillion fire. The colour is extremely rare in this model.The car was sitting for just over 30 years in dry storage, prior to me purchasing it , It has had some paint work over 30 years ago. The car has that true patina look to it. It is a full matching numbers car and is all 100% complete. The car also has ordered optional extras such as the Cortina badge pack on the front bonnet and guards. This true survivor of a car is in great condition for its age. The compliance plate photo shows the authenticity of the car and the paint and trim codes. There is very minor rust in the car. I just spent a lot of money mechanically to get it on the road full brakes overhaul / new tyres / all new rubbers underneath / ball joints / control arms / brand new radiator / new fuel tank / battery & heaps of other work . As you can see in the photos, I have included the Ford Verification letter which verifies that there was only 25 made in this colour combination and it’s believed that there is only 7 still left around.
