1980 FORD XD FAIRMONT GHIA FACTORY 351 AUTO LSD MATCHING NUMBERS

For sale is my XD Ghia. This is a matching numbers T Code Automatic. The car retains its factory driveline including 4 pinion LSD.
This car started life as a Blaze Yellow, brown velour interior car. I have included the Letter from Ford.
A previous owner threw a full resto at it in 2010 including paint, interior and engine rebuild.
Not your normal Cleveland build. Engine retains its original 2V heads with stock rockers and a Lunati spring kit. The block got itself a 393 Scat stroker kit. This included a 4340 Steel Scat crank, Scat H Beam rods and SRP Pistons. It got an air gap manifold, Holley 750, pacemaker extractors, electronic distributor and a small street cam. On the street the engine is smooth and effortless, stays cool and idles with a steady lope. It won't run 10s but it will make you happy.
I also have most of the components for the air conditioning. This includes the original date matched compressor, idler pulleys, brackets, condenser, dryer and some bolts. TX valve is on the fire wall. The engine still retains the multi groove pulleys to run the system.
Body, Paint and Interior
Car is super straight and paint is nice with the only real blemishes being some bubbles on the firewall near the passenger side bonnet hinge and stone chips to the air dam beneath the front bumper. This is not a show car but very presentable for a street car. Colour is a darker red. Photos make it look lighter but I reckon it is more maroon. The interior is tidy. Has the XD padded headrests on the front seats and decent retractable seat belts. All the original XD fitments are in nice condition. Console, dash and steering wheel are clean and in full working condition. The car comes with the original owners manual. I also have a factory radio cassette player that will go with the car. I have added a couple of gauges for piece of mind but the dash ones do work as well. There is also a stereo system which is mostly still in the car. There is a stacker and amp under the seats, a sub woofer box not in the photos and a head unit I have taken out. It would be easy enough to reinstate if that is your thing. It was professionally installed and all the wiring is still in place.
Brakes, Steering and Suspension Stuff
Brakes have been professionally reconditioned including all calipers, rotors and I added stainless braided flexible hoses.
Power steering has been reconditioned in the last twelve months.
Koni shocks and king springs at the front and air shockers out back.
Front and rear factory sway bars.
3 inch single exhaust with fat Hooker muffler.
Wheels and Tyres
Wheels are a nice set of refurbished 15 x 7 inch Bathurst globes. They are not date matching with the car but were bought purely on condition. They have been repolished, repainted, new caps, new nuts and brand new tyres. Last 2 photos show the car with Convo Pros. Would be prepared to swap out these for the globes if preferred. On any given day my preference changes. Spare is the original Ghia alloy.
This is a quality car. Not perfect but hard to find in this condition. Car is registered under Conditional Registration which is non-transferable. It is registered in my name and located in Brisbane.
