The story...I drove this classic home from Sydney 8 years ago,
 with my son on L plates and wife...magic memories..
The long time owner had passed away, and daughter was selling.
She told us her father had it"fully restored" in 1990.

Factory 351 Cleveland ZD Fairlane 500 
( with rebuilt original engine in great condition )
Factory Air conditioning - reconned and re-gased. (2020 cold)
Factory Power steer - rebuilt ram (2021) and pump. (2019)
Factory 8 track player with original rear speakers.

All Matching numbers , Engine, ID tag and Shock tower.
32 years ago it was restored -  tu-pack paint  , retrimmed seats, 
speedo reads 31,695 , rebuilt engine, maybe gearbox, 
daughter couldnt remember..
Paint is still very shiney now, but after 32 years,
it has a few small marks and  minor dags up close.
Roof is painted white...NOT vinyl.
Scripts were on C piller when i purchased, 
was told they are a dealer fitted item

In the last 8 years its travelled about 550miles,  
rarely driven, except to get repairs, and car shows.
Ive cleaned, serviced and fixed things that i could myself, or taken to professionals.
New 500 Holley, Pertronix ignition,  twin system, new big radiator
,water pump ,fuel pump , new Sanden air con and thermo fan.
Has no heater, so washer setup..we dont use those in QLD

NOT a low mile unrestored car.
But an awesome classic ZD you can hop in and take cruising anywhere
 in comfort...with cold air on!
Taking the family to "Coffee N Cars" or Local shows.

OCT 2022 - 4 New tyres and front shocks fitted then 
I cruised 850 klms to Coffs harbour and return..
smooth and comfortable at 110 kph
