Regrettable sale of my 1970 Hertz Eliminator "Project" Coupe vin # 0F91M537652 currently approx 90% complete

This is a rare car ordered by Hertz complete with Electric Golde sunroof 1 of ony 100 ever built and optioned with a 351 Cleveland, FMX auto, Air con, power steer and white interior. This was also a California car so has the Emission fuel tank. These cars were ordered by Hertz (inc Mustangs) and were called "Rent a Racer" back in the 70"s

This Cougar has been an on going restoration for the last 10 years and completely rebuilt / restored panel and paint using another Cougar XR7 for replacement quarters and new floor. Professionally completed body work, NEW mildly worked 351 engine, gearbox, 9" diff, exhaust, shocks, suspension, re chromed bumpers etc the list goes on as everything has been restored or replaced.

I have the parts required to fit including fan, shroud, radio, chrome trim as well as some spares. A comprehensive history, deluxe Marti Report, receipts and photos of all the work completed is available for interested buyers.

To finish, it just requires the interior retrimmed, some minor electrical work, seatbelts and new widscreen its basically nearly all there / hard work done as they say. Great value compared to Aussie Muscle cars!
